A few weekends ago we drove through Indianapolis and stopped to see my friends Ben and Lisa from college. They had their second child just three days before we had Evelyn and, unbeknownst to each other, they named their daughter Evelyn. And her middle name is Samara, which is Ben's mother's name (our Evelyn's middle name is Marsha, my mother's name).

Evidently we don't feed Evelyn enough.
This one's a little blurry, but it's a great smile. She's laughed a few times recently, but we haven't caught it on camera yet.
